Background

This project is a D&AD competition entry for a global airport campaign, built around the reinterpretation of HSBC Red in collaboration with PANTONE.

The concept explores how a single, iconic brand color can communicate clarity, trust, and global consistency across diverse contexts. By translating HSBC Red into different material expressions, glass, crystal, silk, and cashmere, the campaign gives the color depth and meaning beyond its visual identity. Each material reflects a distinct brand value: transparency, precision, global movement, and long-term relationships.
